Halsey Was In France During The Time Of The Incident
Ashley Nicolette Frangipane, better known by her stage name Halsey, is a singer and actress originally from Edison, New Jersey. As a singer, she is known for her singles, “Colors”, “Gasoline,” and “Without Me.”
Halsey first gained attention from self-released music shared on social media. Even after gaining fame, she continues to share her life with followers on these platforms.
Recently, the pop star gave fans a scare as she posted an image of her bandaged body following an accident. In a photo, the singer could be seen with bandages on her stomach, chest, and hand. The star also appeared to have an IV port attached beneath her shirt.
Keeping in good spirits, however, Halsey held a thumbs-up for the photo. In a caption, the singer wrote, “Burned myself with the burning water in my vocal steamer. Falling apart! France 2, Ash 0. UK next!’”

Halsey has often used social media to share her health journey with fans. Back in September, she opened up about undergoing chemotherapy in a TikTok video. She had also previously shared that she was dealing with lupus and T-cell lymphoproliferative disorder.
The singer also shared that she was getting a “new port placed.” This small device is inserted under the skin after a chemotherapy treatment is finished.
Meanwhile, the New Jersey native was scheduled to perform in Paris, France, at L’Olympia on January 26 and 27, 2026. This was part of her “Back to Badlands” tour. She previously performed in France back in 2019 at the Stade de France with BTS. This current tour will conclude on February 20, 2026, with a performance in Melbourne.
Taking to social media, fans have shared their concerns seeing Halsey’s bandages. Many have followed her for quite some time and were aware of her previous health issues, hoping that she could soon find some relief. A few especially wished her good luck, considering her recent tour. Some comments included:
