The Boys’ Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir are making a return weeks after the Amazon Prime Video series’ finale. However, it’s not how most fans would’ve expected.
Call of Duty: Mobile brings in Homelander and more from The Boys
The Boys is collaborating with Call of Duty: Mobile for the game’s Season 5: Revenge update. As a result, players will be able to play as Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir. Unlike the series’ previous crossovers with the mainline games, this update will be limited to the mobile version.
In the upcoming Season 5 update, players will be able to take control of all three Supes. In addition to unlocking their skins through special Draws, players can experience their unique abilities in limited-time multiplayer modes (via Call of Duty).
One of the new modes is called Supe’d Up Attack of the Undead. It is a twist on the game’s existing Super Attack of the Undead mode. The difference is that players will be automatically assigned one of the three superheroes at the beginning of the match.
The last survivor of the zombie mode will be transformed into their assigned Supe. Using their powers, the players have to fight off the zombie horde. Homelander, Starlight, and Black Noir all have their distinct abilities, allowing players to explore as all three.
The collaboration will also introduce Vought Royale. Players can collect Temp V, which are spread across the battle royale map, and consume them to receive one random superpower. Furthermore, it will also feature a The Boys-themed event where players can choose their faction and complete challenges to earn rare items.
The additional Season 5 update includes a 1v1 duel-themed event and a new battle pass. It will feature a new assault rifle, BAL-27, which can be unlocked by completing the battle pass’s free-tier challenges. The premium tiers, on the other hand, will offer additional Operator skins and weapon blueprints.
