Now that it is official that Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks will be back together for Season 16 of the Real Housewives of Atlanta, fans can rejoice. No longer will the ATL be filled with boring storylines. Once again, the duo that is known as Frick and Frack will be gracing us with their presence. And I don’t know about you, but I am ready for the shenanigans. And let’s be honest, a Scorpio and a Cancer usually make the best TV friendships.
Frick and Frack take on the friend contract
Everyone remembers Cynthia Bailey’s infamous friend contract that she had NeNe Leakes sign. But sometimes, the fact that the former model bonded so quickly with Kenya Moore is overlooked. Thankfully, we had Porsha and Phaedra on the case. During a girl’s trip dinner, Phae Phae and Porsha skillfully brought up the fact that NeNe was being left in the dust. As the duo dropped the grenade, they then sat back and watched Cynthia squirm. Porsha’s face said it all. The women were content to bask in the chaos they just created, knowing this group wouldn’t make it to dessert.
Frick and Frack’s birthday bonanza
Now personally, it is hard to remember which Real Housewives star was Frick and which one was Frack. But both always remembered to have a good time when they were together. Another memorable scene was when Porsha threw a birthday party for the lawyer. The night was held in her oversized mansion, complete with chicken wings, biscuits, and gravy.
Now, the ladies may have partaken in too much St. Germain (Phaedra’s favorite liquor) because the next thing we knew, they were wearing matching PJs. Perhaps the best part was that one had “Frick” on the butt and the other had “Frack.” This was when OG Juicy Couture was the “it” look, so no judgment on the fashion choices. Phaedra must have had one hell of a night cause she sucked the wing clean of the meat and twerked till she could twerk no more. Porsha couldn’t help but brag that “Frick and Frack keep it moist.” Whatever that means.
They say the people on Christian Mingle are murderers
Okay, so I remembered that Porsha was Frick. Score one for me! But one of the funniest scenes had the two peaches discussing online dating. Phaedra seemed apprehensive, questioning how legitimate online dating was. In the same scene, the ladies sat down for homemade sweet tea and spilled the tea. Phaedra, who was recently divorced, was “glowing,” leading Frick to dig for some answers.
While mixing guacamole, Phae Phae shared that she was “ready for hard love.” With Porsha asking, “How hard?” Lord, I clutched my pearls, waiting for that answer. But I was not prepared for “wood hard.” Porsha almost spat out her imitation Chic-fil-A lemonade. As the two mothers danced around the kitchen, Phaedra noted, “That’s gonna be double trouble. Porsha and Phaedra, that’s a whole lot of booty rockin’ everywhere.”
Even Frick and Frack’s downfall was entertaining
Porsha always stood by Phaedra’s side. So, it confused viewers when the mother of two didn’t understand where Porsha was coming from during Season 9. Frick, aka Porsha, tried to warn Frack about a fake friend within her circle. Kenya was causing trouble between the duo, which wasn’t pretty. But like a true sisterhood, Phaedra noted, “When it comes down to it, I’m rolling with Porsha.”
As the dinner conversation heated up over Kenya and Kandi Burruss, Porsha proclaimed, “Me and my hat are dead to the situation. That’s why I’m wearing all black. I’m dressed to dead these b*tches.” But who knew this was the beginning of the end?
Even though Frick and Frack caused some major turbulence on Real Housewives of Atlanta, I loved them together. Every scene they were in captivated me. I always felt like Porsha helped Phaedra to loosen up and shed her Southern Belle mask. In turn, Phaedra made Porsha feel more confident in her skin, especially when reading the other women.
