The update comes just days after the two were spotted together on a dinner date. It might have seemed like they were on an upward swing, but an insider just revealed the truth about their relationship.
Just friends with ‘insane chemistry’
When Gleb and Brooks started “dating,” we all knew deep in our hearts that it was a showmance. When we learned that Gleb dumped her over text, that told us everything we needed to know.
Despite their recent dinner date, a source told Us Weekly that the two weren’t planning on rekindling their romance. It doesn’t sound like that’s on the table at all.
“They are on good terms and still have insane chemistry but are definitely not getting back together,” the source confessed. “There’s no rekindled romance going on.”
Previously, a source suggested that the two faked their romance as a way to get attention and build momentum off of DWTS Season 33. The latest tea seems to reinforce that notion. They said that Brooks never took their relationship seriously.
“Their relationship was an abrupt breakup, but they have cleared the air,” the insider explained. “Brooks is happily single right now and didn’t think they were serious to begin with.”
Brooks seemed to be taking it seriously when she got a matching tattoo with Gleb. Now, she is supposedly “in the process” of getting it removed. Meanwhile, Gleb said he’s keeping his.
