RHOA’s Brit Eady Suing Bravo for Million — Details

The Brit Eady saga just took another shocking turn. The Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie, who recently skipped the Season 16 reunion, has filed a lawsuit for $20 million. That lawsuit stems from the messy feud between Brit and Kenya Moore, where explicit photos were shown during the grand opening of the Kenya Moore Hair Spa. We’ve got everything you need to know about the latest move from Brit.

In a recent Instagram post explaining her absence from the Season 16 reunion, Brit promised that she would be seeking accountability for her time on RHOA. Apparently, that accountability is coming in the form of a massive lawsuit.

According to a report from The Independent, Brit filed a lawsuit against the network for $20 million. She has accused them of defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress, sexual harassment, and fostering a hostile work environment.

The lawsuit specifically calls out RHOA Season 16 Episode 5, when Kenya held the grand opening of her hair spa. Kenya was upset about the episode prior, when Brit commented on having a pistol. In retaliation, Kenya unveiled a poster that supposedly showed explicit images of Brit. It’s important to remember that the poster reveal happened after Brit had already stormed out of the spa.

Brit has since claimed that she was not the person in the images. However, Brit’s lawsuit argues that Bravo, NBC, and the RHOA production companies should have taken further steps to protect her from the scandal. She said she made “repeated requests” to see what was on the poster board.

“On information and belief, Defendants knew that the photograph did not depict Plaintiff or, at the least, were reckless or grossly negligent in failing to learn that the photograph did not depict Plaintiff,” the filing said.

The lawsuit arrives exactly a year from the day of Kenya’s grand opening, which happened on June 6, 2024. In addition to $20 million in damages, Brit wants Episode 5 removed from Bravo’s library. As of now, it’s still available to stream.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta continues on Bravo every Sunday at 8/7c. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.

TELL US – WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON BRIT EADY’S LAWSUIT? ARE YOU SURPRISED TO LEARN THAT SHE TOOK THIS STEP?
