Sarah Ferguson Is Plotting Her ‘Royal Exit Strategy,’ Says Source

It seems Sarah Ferguson is in hot water following recent controversies. She has not only become the talk of the town but has reportedly been axed from several charities. However, according to a source, the Duchess of York is now planning her “royal exit strategy.” Her move “is about survival,” and it seems Ferguson is ready to go the extra mile to secure her future, even if it means cutting ties with ex-Prince Andrew entirely.

The royal family is once again in the news following the ongoing controversy surrounding Sarah Ferguson. The recent storm might even affect her equation with Prince Andrew. Hence, according to insiders, the Duchess of York is now planning her royal exit strategy and is thinking of severing all ties with Andrew once and for all.

“Fergie knows she’s toxic right now,” one source revealed to #ShuterScoop. As per the insider, the duchess has already lost her “Julia’s House patronage,” which “was humiliating” for her. Even King Charles “dropped her cold.” So, now Ferguson “fears she’ll sink further if she clings to Andrew.” Looking at the recent developments, a courtier added that the monarch already “sees Andrew as blood, Fergie as baggage.” Thus, for the duchess, “this is about survival — and she’ll do whatever it takes.”

The Duke and Duchess of York first tied the knot on 23 July 1986 at Westminster Abbey in London. But they divorced a decade later in 1996. Ferguson and Andrew are parents to Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie. Post-divorce, the former couple continued to live together and were spotted together at a number of significant royal engagements.

But now, not only is her relationship with Andrew on the edge, but she has reportedly been removed from multiple charities as a patron. As per Sky News, the 65-year-old royal member has been dropped from the Teenage Cancer Trust, the British Heart Foundation, and the Children’s Literacy Charity as a patron.

Additionally, the National Foundation for Retired Service Animals, the organisation Prevent Breast Cancer, children’s hospice Julia’s House, and food allergy charity The Natasha Allergy Research Foundation have also removed her from the same position.
