Summer House’s Lexi Wood’s Jesse Solomon Accusations Explained

Summer House’s Lexi Wood’s Jesse Solomon Accusations Explained

Since Lexi Wood stepped her dainty little foot into the Summer House, nothing has been the same. Jesse Solomon was smitten and hit hard by Cupid’s arrow. But the two seemed doomed from the start of their short, six-week courtship. As the summer has come to an end, Lexi is learning that she can’t always trust a man with a mile-wide smile. And now she is calling Jesse out.

Summer House newbie Lexi Wood claims Jesse Solomon would punish her

For many the straw that would have broken the camel’s back was when Jesse slid into Imrul Hassan’s threesome to get his toe sucked. But the model persisted and thought she could teach Jesse how to be a better boyfriend. Her attempt ultimately proved to be an exercise in futility.

Now that the pair are no longer roommates or lovers, Lexi is speaking out. After some contemplation, Lexi shared, “I just felt like every single thing that I said to kind of like, be like, ‘Let’s chill out for a minute,’ would make him want it more. But also, almost, like, retaliate. He would almost, like, punish me. So every single time I’d be like, ‘Let’s relax,’ he would then go say things behind my back. And I never asked him to unfollow anyone.”

Even though Lexi was made out to be the jealous one in the relationship, it feels as if Jesse was the clingy one. Lexi gave a bit more insight, adding, “He would be like, ‘Oh my gosh, like, no, I need to see you more times a week than I don’t. I want to sleep with you every single night.’ It was, like, so much. He’s like, ‘I want to wake up with you every day.’ It was a lot for me, and I did feel overwhelmed.”

Summer House’s Jesse Solomon had a lot of demands for Lexi Wood

According to Lexi, the What Would Jesse Solomon singer would often demand to see her during the work week. For Lexi, it felt smothering. She told fans, “He needed to see me every single day that we weren’t filming. He needed to be with me all the time, and I was like, ‘We live together on the weekends.’”

She added, “And I actually sat him down and I was like, ‘Okay, I think we need to have a conversation because I feel extremely overwhelmed. We hang out too much. This is not normal. We already aren’t normal because we live together on the weekends. That’s already accelerating our relationship, but I need us to take a chill pill.’” Clearly, that sentiment didn’t sit well with Jesse.

Lexi did admit she saw a future at one point. Not surprisingly, she heard wedding bells, noting, “‘Look, the end goal of dating is always to get married, and then you spend forever together.” She explained, “So, we should be taking the time that we don’t have to be together and actually be loving that time too. I was like, ‘You should have an independent life. I have an independent life. It gives more conversations. It gives more everything. We cannot be together all the time.’”

Could both Lexi Wood and Jesse Solomon return to Summer House?

Now, I didn’t love how Jesse acted this season. And Lexi was not my favorite Bravoleb. I think that in a best-case scenario, only Jesse would return. Lexi in, my opinion, was just too young to be in a shared house with people who were at least ten years older than her. Something about the model didn’t resonate with many viewers.

However, I think if their drama continues on the reunion, then Bravo might want to bring both back next year in hopes of stirring up some drama. Jesse was talented at spinning multiple narratives behind Lexi’s back and that is one hill she isn’t willing to die on if she does return.

And while two things can be true at once, Lexi did like Jesse, or she wouldn’t have been so hurt; their relationship just felt toxic. Lexi explained that Jesse talked a lot.

“And not only about me. He just did me on camera. He spins so much off camera, it was overload for my brain [about] every single one of the cast members including West. Every single person and production.” She addded “It just really sucked for me to be in that. But again, he knew I didn’t know. I was like, ‘Maybe this is how it works.’”

Luckily Lexi no longer has to pretend to laugh at Jesse’s jokes and can now move on.

Summer House is available to stream on Peacock. The show streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland.
