Tom Schwartz and Tom Sandoval used to be business partners. But after a rocky finale season on Vanderpump Rules, their bar, Schwartz & Sandy’s, folded. These days, if you ask Schwartz about their bromance, he will allegedly tell you that he feels done with Sandoval.
Tom Schwartz “will never” go into business with Tom Sandoval again
The Scandoval storyline consumed the final season of Vanderpump Rules. As a result, many viewers carried a putrid taste in their mouths regarding Sandoval. Reactionary behaviors then kicked in, bringing a slew of negative feedback to their bar. This narrative did not find Schwartz or Sandoval well, as they poured their life savings (and a marriage) into their investment.
Sandoval even poured a loan from his mother into Schwartz & Sandy’s, valued at $250,000. However, despite their mediocre efforts to save face following this bombshell storyline, Schwartz & Sandy’s closed in December 2024.
According to a source via The U.S. Sun, Schwartz has been “very vocal” about this mess, allegedly stating that he will “never go into business with Sandoval again.” Apparently, “They are still friends, as they’ll always have a connection in that brotherly sort of way, and Schwartz will always think of him as a brother. But Schwartz and Sandy’s closing ruined their friendship for a while, and it will never be the same,” they further claimed.
The source continued, explaining that this “put a severe fracture in their relationship that they have [only] partially recovered from. The financial ruin and stress put a toll on them and led to really nasty fights and huge disagreements they couldn’t compromise on.”
Now, their bar is closed. Their series also cut them in favor of a reboot. Therefore, according to this source, neither Schwartz nor Sandoval is “in the best place money-wise.” But thankfully, “Schwartz has got some things in the works, so he’ll be okay. He won’t be a stranger to TV screens,” this source ended.
