Gwyneth Paltrow Could Do with More Than 2 Kids

Gwyneth Paltrow recently revealed that she regretted stopping at two kids and expressed her desire to have more. The actor opened up to her husband, Brad Falchuk, during the new episode of her “The goop Podcast” podcast. Paltrow sat down with her special guest for an honest conversation and shared the realities of step-parenting. During the talk, the businesswoman revealed she began feeling more fulfilled as a mother after welcoming her stepchildren.

Gwyneth Paltrow is all about a bigger family

Gwyneth Paltrow admitted she used to want to have more children before marrying Brad Falchuk and blending their families. The 52-year-old got candid about her desire during the latest episode of “The goop Podcast,” in which she sat down for a rare public talk with her husband. The couple, who tied the knot in 2018, discussed their journey and got honest about the unexpected realities of blending a family.

At one point during the conversation, Paltrow revealed there was a time when she used to wish she had more than two children. The actor said, “My dad [Bruce Paltrow] used to say the only regret he had in his entire life was not having more kids.” Paltrow explained she started to feel the same way. The star told her husband, “I felt like that for a long time until I got yours too.” Paltrow added, “You know, I got to tack on.”

Paltrow shares daughter Apple and son Moses with her ex-husband, Chris Martin. Falchuk, too, shares two children — son Brody and daughter Isabella — with his ex-wife, Suzanne Bukinik. Following Paltrow’s revelation, Falchuk asked his wife the moment when the feeling of fulfillment “sunk in.” The actor shared that it happened while sitting around the table during a particular dinner.

Paltrow recalled, “The girls were graduating,” and said, “It started to just feel really light and really cohesive.” She shared that since then, they have “had so many moments like that,” and added, “I feel like it keeps deepening.” Paltrow told Falchuk, “It’s such a particular kind of delight, you know, to see our four kids in their own relationships and being friends with each other and loving each other.”
