Reactions are still pouring in from the latest episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, where Brit Eady made those shocking comments about having a “pistol.” It all happened after getting into an argument with Kenya Moore, and during a recent episode of Two Ts in a Pod, Tamra Judge and Dolores Catania weighed in on the controversy. Both of them think a few lines got crossed.
Did Kenya Moore go too far on RHOA?
During the Two Ts in a Pod RHOA recap, the ladies tried to make sense of how things escalated so quickly between Brit and Kenya. They just met, and then four episodes later, Brit is threatening her with a pistol. How does that happen?
“That was just normal Housewife fighting right there,” Tamra said of the drama. “It wasn’t like, ‘Let me bring out my whips and pistol.’”
On RHOA, Brit admitted in a confessional interview that she had some preconceived ideas about Kenya. With that in mind, Dolores theorized that Brit might have been “intimidated” by the longtime RHOA star once filming started. Either way, both ladies agreed that Brit’s casual gunplay comments weren’t cool.
“It was a very overly aggressive response to something I don’t think warranted that,” Dolores added.
But then, there’s Kenya. Her hands aren’t clean in all of this, but she hasn’t had any confessional interviews in Season 16 to explain her side. It makes things difficult to follow, and Dolores said she felt like that was a mistake from production.
“Now, they’ve taken away her ability to explain herself or speak,” Dolores noted.
“She had some serious charges for what goes on next week,” Dolores continued, adding that she learned about the scandal while filming Season 3 of The Traitors.
While we wait to see what goes down next week at the hair spa opening, Dolores predicted that Kenya could have done a better job of responding to Brit’s behavior. Had she not escalated the situation, we’d all be solely focused on the pistol comment.
“[Kenya] left the vault winning,” Dolores explained. “Brit made a fool of herself there.”
She continued, “Don’t overreact and they will destroy themselves. But see Kenya, now she won. You let her win.”
